I appreciated its nice looking rooms.

relaxing hotel, spotlessly clean, hospitable staff, location in a lovely area was absolutely perfect. the breakfast was lovely, it included good coffee, tea, toast, and omelette. the service provided there was good. free wi-fi was available throughout the property. my stay was very nice here.

This spot in the old town was clean, relaxing, and conveniently located with attentive staff on hand.

The rooms were compact and budget, were equipped with the bathroom, aircon, for example.

Comfortable base for one night, recommended. Right by Fort and other local attractions;)))

The hotel was fantastic and had very helpful staff. the location was unbeatable and exceptionally nice. - It is within walking distance of a historic lighthouse. - the area is historic and near many good restaurants, the train station, and the city center.

In general could be a nice hotel but....

...I Booked a double room. Got one of the rooms on the ground floor, walls and bathroom are completely moulded and just overpainted. Of course really a bad smell. After my complaint we got the junior suite which is around 10 m2 with shared bathroom. I got no money back but the room was on Booked.net with half of the price i paid. There are 2 nice rooms in the first floor but this is twins rooms. No option from the manager to sleep in one of these rooms. Don't book this hotel - you will not get what you expect and there is no room for improvement and understanding from the manager !!!

This was the third hotel we booked into during our recent holiday in Sri Lanka and first impressions were good. Check in was quick as our bags taken to our room. The room was spacious and clean and just as described. Unfortunately I had an accident, falling down the step when coming out of the En Suite facilities in the room and can not fault the hotel staff for all their assistance in getting me to hospital. The hotel staff kindly arranged dinner for us upon return from hospital and breakfast the next day was good. Hotel is in Galle Fort and all the sights are easily accessable on foot or by tuk tuk.

Convenient location, just a short walk to the fort. Got to surf the web easily with the free Wi-Fi 👍.

The location

Our room on the first floor was tiny for 2 people with no ensuite - when booking we assumed that at that price all bedrooms would have an ensuite bathroom. We arrived on a Friday around 12 pm, and after we had organised our room we discovered we were locked into the building. There were no staff on site, and another guest with a baby in a sling was unable to get into the building, and we could not get out. If there was a fire we would have been burnt alive. The staff had not told us they were leaving and locking the door. Apparently there is a sign on the outside of the building stating that the door is locked on Fridays between 12 and 3 pm but we were unaware of it. There was not fire escape or alternative exit. It was a totally unacceptable situation and I would encourage people to boycott the hotel.

This hotel is perfectly located within the fort, making it a great base for exploring the charming streets and historical landmarks. The strategic location allows you to easily immerse yourself in the rich history of the area.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

Staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Arranged travel/tuk-tuks, provided restaurant recs, and served breakfast promptly when asked. Location was excellent - steps from any major attraction in the fort. Room was immaculately clean. It's not a luxury hotel, so dont go in expecting too much, but for what I paid I was incredibly happy with the place. I would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom did not have a shower stall. Instead, it just had a shower head and you showered in the entire bathroom - not bad, just kind of weird. Also, the door frames are very low - I am 6'2" and bumped my head many times!!

Nice little hotel with "atmosphare". Good starting point for exploring Galle.

Our room in basement had only window to atrium/corridor, quite dark. Only one and same satelite channel could be chosen centrally for all rooms.

The whole experience was really nice from start to finish. Good service provided by fantastically friendly staff. - Perfect location adjacent to transport for a whale-watching day trip, the Galle old Fort, and the city center. - Fresh bread and omelette offered for breakfast.

This guest house has a prime location in the heart of a historical area. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, and landmarks, it offers a central location for exploring the fort. Rooms are spacious and clean with helpful and friendly roomboys. the breakfast includes Western and local styles It has charming and tasteful decor that make it a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Some rooms like a dark spartan room lack proper amenities and facilities.
